Curiosity is a super power - if you have the courage to use it
Your life's work is what gets you out of bed in the morning.
Your life's work is what determines your curiosities.
Your curiosities determine your daily actions.
As a young man or woman, you have a duty and an obligation to pursue your dream life.
You have an assignment that goes beyond what your mind can perceive.
And when you don't pursue this you feel:
Lost
Stuck
Uninspired
Lacking purpose
I know this because I've been there.
Working a job that is solely to pay your mortgage.
Spending most of your time with people who don't inspire you.
Being in an intimate relationship that doesn't serve you.
Not having enough money to go and pursue something that you are interested in.
Feeling like you are not worthy of success or financial freedom.
I can keep going. but as you know this is a very difficult position to be in.
I am here to say it can be changed.
And it starts with you pursuing your curiosities.
When we are young we are inspired on the daily.
Where curious about the world.
We do things without the fear of failing because it's all we know.
As soon as we hit the educational & financial system we succumb to society's rules and regulations.
And then fast forward to the present moment and we are fucking miserable because we're not doing anything true to our nature.
This is why we have so many mental & physical health issues because we are so out of balance and not in touch with our way of being.
We've got no idea how to love ourselves and love others.
I'm sure you can relate.
This is where each person's situation is unique.
There is never a one-size-fits-all for everyone on this planet.
There is only one's interests, hobbies and curiosities.
So think back to when you were a kid..
What did you love doing?
When were you your most joyful and wonderful self?
Playing sport
Painting
Drawing
Writing
Exploring

Knowing how you were as a kid before you took on all your responsibilities will help you understand where you should be putting more of your time, money and energy.
So whether you're working a job you cannot stand.
In a relationship, you know you shouldn't be in.
Living in a town that doesn't serve your growth anymore.
You have the power to make a change.
In the Art of Impossible, Steven Kotler the author speaks about discovering one's curiosities through his/her biology. Link
Human Biology is a great place to start if you are interested in science.
If you're not interested in science there is a book called The Alchemist which helps one discover his/her personal legend. Link
A personal legend is defined by one's mission. purpose & vision.
This can be found in solo travel.
So look at your current position, which area of your life needs work?
Health & Fitness
Intimate Relationship
Social Life
Finance
Hobbies
Exploration
Pick one and start to explore the endless possibilities that are out there for you.
Needless to say, this all takes time and it's not going to just happen overnight, you're going to have to dedicate time to yourself to explore your curiosities.
This is where a daily writing practice can be transformational.
Each morning I sit down and journal my thoughts and any ideas that come to mind.
This has transformed my life in many ways because I have now realised my potential and the power that I hold from within.
When you get out of your way and allow the pen to do the talking, magical ideas can come to life.
At the start, it will feel weird, but go into it open-minded.
When you get your thoughts onto paper it allows for new ideas to come through.
It allows for a new way of being that you may have not seen before.
This is when you can start to transform your current situation.
When you discover that you hold the keys to your life, you'll start to become empowered in ways you could've never imagined.
It's time to take back control of your life.
It's time to take back the fucking keys and pursue your legend.
So do yourself a favour and go and get yourself a pen and journal.
Alternatively, use your phone notes and ask yourself, this one question.
What was I curious about when I was a child?
As always I appreciate you all reading and I hope you have a great start to the week.
Much love.
